Pablo Martinez
Owner
Pablo has been in the home care industry since 2007 and has a heart to serve Central Coast residents by providing expert in-home care services. Pablo is the first to say he could not provide exceptional home health and hospice care without the superior knowledge and integrity of his staff. He is proud to employ some of the best clinicians on the Central Coast, which is why Superior Home Health and Hospice consistently has the highest Medicare rating around. Pablo is not only the owner, but an integral part of the Superior team, never hesitating to lend a helping hand to clients and staff alike.
After starting sister company Superior Senior Home Care in 2007, Pablo saw a need for more specialized care in the home, and Superior Home Health and Hospice was born. Together, the two companies meet a wide variety of care needs for Central Coast families.
Pablo has a passion for supporting the community, whether it is coaching and sponsoring youth sports, participating in the Lompoc Rotary and Elks clubs, rescuing animals, or showing support for local law enforcement and the Space Force Base.
Cassandra Pence
Hospice Administrator, Bereavement Coordinator, and Social Worker
Cassandra serves as Superior Home Health and Hospice’s Hospice Administrator, Bereavement Coordinator, and Social Worker. She developed her passion for hospice after caring for her own loved ones who passed away while under the care of hospice. Cassandra aims to deliver the same excellent end-of-life support she received. She started her career with Superior Home Health in 2019 as a social work intern. After earning a master’s degree in social work, she assisted in the development of the Superior Hospice program. She has been an integral part in helping the agency to successfully pass Medicare accreditation with zero deficiencies.
When Cassandra is not working you will find her spending time with friends and family and enjoying all the Central Coast has to offer.
Erin Sinnott
Erin Sinnott
Rehabilitation Director and Administrator
Erin serves as Superior Home Health and Hospice’s Rehabilitation Director and Administrator. She also manages the wound care program. Erin strives to help make Superior Home Health and Hospice one of the best places to work on the Central Coast, knowing that happy employees provide superior care.
Home health care is Erin’s passion and she loves to continually learn and develop new skills to benefit those she serves. She became a Certified Wound Specialist in 2014 and achieved the distinguished National Board Certified Wound Specialist designation in 2019. Erin earned her Master’s in Physical Therapy from Mount St. Mary’s in Los Angeles in 1994. She began her career working in outpatient settings, specializing in orthopedics, specifically in spine injuries. Erin has lectured on subjects such as treating thoracic outlet syndrome and neurovascular disorders, fall prevention, and balance testing in the elderly. She has also served as an expert witness and guest lectured at Sacramento State University’s Physical Therapy School.
Outside of work, Erin loves cooking, gardening, traveling, hiking, reading and entertaining.
